VIDEO: At Supreme Court, Walorski Urges Commitment to Pro-Life Protections
WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-Ind.) today released a video in support of pro-life protections as the U.S. Supreme Court is slated to consider two abortion-related cases on November 1.
“The Supreme Court Justices – including our fellow Hoosier Amy Coney Barrett – will hear arguments about Americans’ fundamental rights, including the vital right to life,” said Congresswoman Walorski, “State legislators in Indiana and around the country have passed pro-life laws that are now under attack from the radical left. Right now, lives are on the line.”
Standing in front of the Supreme Court, Congresswoman Walorski outlined her steadfast commitment to the sanctity of life and urged support for vital pro-life protections in Indiana and around the country. Watch her full video here.
In the coming week, the U.S. Supreme Court will consider some of the most consequential cases of my lifetime, right here where I am standing, where Roe v. Wade was decided nearly 50 years ago.
The justices – including our fellow Hoosier Amy Coney Barrett – will hear arguments about Americans’ fundamental rights, including the vital right to life.
State legislators in Indiana and around the country have passed pro-life laws, which are now under attack from the radical left. Right now, lives are on the line.
Alongside so many pro-life Americans, I am praying that these pro-life protections will be upheld. And, across the street in Congress, I am working every day to defend the unborn and to serve as a voice for the voiceless.
It’s so important that we continue to work together to advance our pro-life agenda.
Despite the challenges we are facing, I am confident that our commitment to life will prevail.
As a pro-life advocate, Congresswoman Walorski is leading legislative efforts to uphold the dignity of life and defend Americans’ conscience rights.
In the 117th Congress, Rep. Walorski has cosponsored important pro-life legislation, including the Dignity for Aborted Children Act, the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, the Abortion Providers Loan Elimination Act, the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion and Abortion Insurance Full Disclosure Act of 2021, and the Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act.
Additionally, she has consistently opposed the Democrats’ exclusion of the Hyde Amendment and pro-life protections in spending bills. Congresswoman Walorski also strongly opposed H.R. 3755, the Democrats’ radical “abortion on demand” bill that would override pro-life laws around the country. Read more here.
Walorski represents the 2nd Congressional District of Indiana, serving as a member of the House Ways and Means Committee and the Ranking Member of the House Ethics Committee.
