Walorski Announces Senior Staff Changes

WASHINGTON – U.S. Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-Ind.) today announced recent staff changes in her Washington, D.C., and Mishawaka, Ind., offices.

“My job is to fight for 2nd District Hoosiers, and my staff plays a vital role in working on their behalf and making their voices heard in Washington,” Congresswoman Walorski said. “I’m excited to announce several changes in our offices as we get back to work building on our nation’s economic momentum, standing up for our veterans, and giving families a chance to live the American Dream.”

Ben Falkowski recently departed as Chief of Staff after more than six years with Congresswoman Walorski to join Gula Graham as Vice President. Prior to serving as Chief of Staff, Ben also served as District Director.

Mike Dankler is now Chief of Staff. Mike has been with Congresswoman Walorski since 2015, previously serving as Deputy Chief of Staff and Legislative Director. He will oversee Walorski’s D.C. and district offices, as well as continue managing trade policy for the congresswoman. Mike is a native of Lombard, Ill., and a graduate of the University of Illinois.

Brian Spaulding has been promoted to Deputy Chief of Staff, based in the Mishawaka district office. Brian, who previously served as District Director and General Counsel, has been with Congresswoman Walorski since 2013. He is a native of Mt. Vernon, Ind., and a graduate of Purdue University and Michigan State University College of Law.

Martin Schultz has been promoted to Legislative Director. Martin, who has been with the congresswoman since she came to office in 2013, previously served as Legislative Assistant. He is a native of Plymouth, Ind., and a graduate of Indiana University South Bend.

“I’m grateful to Ben for his dedication and hard work on behalf of 2nd District Hoosiers, and I wish him all the best in his next endeavors,” Walorski said. “With Mike as Chief of Staff, Brian as Deputy Chief of Staff, and Marty as Legislative Director, I know we have a great team in place to keep fighting for Hoosiers and achieving commonsense solutions to help manufacturers, farmers, small business owners, workers, families, and veterans thrive. And our district caseworkers will continue to provide outstanding constituent service to assist Hoosiers who are facing problems with federal agencies.”

Walorski represents the 2nd Congressional District of Indiana, serving as a member of the House Ways and Means Committee.
