Walorski Statement on Pompeo Confirmation as Secretary of State
WASHINGTON – U.S. Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-Ind.) today released the following statement after Mike Pompeo was confirmed as secretary of state:
“I want to congratulate my former colleague on his confirmation as our next secretary of state. America faces many challenges on the world stage, and I’m confident Mike Pompeo will represent our nation with resolve and serve the American people well. I look forward to working together to keep our nation safe and strong.”
Walorski represents the 2nd Congressional District of Indiana, serving as a member of the House Ways and Means Committee.
