Financial Disclosures

Personal Financial Disclosure

Every Member of the U.S. House of Representatives who was in office by May 15 of the current year is required to file a Financial Disclosure Statement covering these categories, for the previous calendar year:

  • Earned income (e.g., salaries and fees)
  • Donations made by others to charities in lieu of paying a Representative for a speech, appearance, or article
  • “Unearned” income
  • Assets purchased, sold, or exchanged
  • Liabilities
  • Gifts received
  • Travel reimbursements
  • Positions held by the Representative
  • Agreements with outside entities

Financial disclosure statements for Representatives are available on the Internet on or about June 15 of the year they are filed. I took office on January 3, 2013. Financial disclosure statements are available on the Internet here.
