Walorski Hosts 2015 Congressional Art Competition Winners Reception

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Jackie Walorski (IN-02) will host a reception recognizing this year’s 2015 Congressional Art Competition finalists at the South Bend International Airport. Walorski, along with members of her staff, will welcome guests including the top 11 finalists, their family members, and judges. During the reception, Walorski will announce the first and second place winners and the recipient whose artwork received the most “Likes” on Walorski’s official Facebook page.

The Congressional Art Competition was established in 1982 to give members of Congress the opportunity to recognize artistic talent amongst their constituents. It takes place nationwide and open to all high school students. During the next year, the first place winner will have their artwork displayed in the U.S. Capitol and the second place winner will have their artwork displayed in the Congresswoman’s Mishawaka District Office.
