H.R. 2413 will designate an Elkhart post office as the "Staff Sergeant Jesse Williams Post Office Building,” in honor of Williams.

Hoosier World War II veterans from Northern Indiana made the trip to Washington as part of a Northeast Indiana Honor Flight Network trip. During the visit, Walorski thanked veterans for their service and sacrifice on behalf of their country. Today’s flight also carried Honor Flight Northeast Indiana’s (NEI) 1,000th veteran and was also the 400th national Honor Flight.
